Educational Qualification:-
Mandatory Qualification :-
1. Must have passed Intermediate Examination from Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttarakhand, with Biology or Mathematics subject or any examination recognized as equivalent by Govt.
2. For direct recruitment to the posts in the service, it is necessary that the candidate holds a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and is also registered with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttarakhand.
3. Have working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script,
(b) Preferred Qualifications:- Other things being equal, in case of direct recruitment of such candidates
Preference will be given to those who :-
1. Have served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
2. Have obtained “B” or “C” certificate of National Cadet Corps.
Age:-
The crucial date for calculation of age for all the above posts is 01 July, 2025. But that the candidates of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Class of Uttarakhand State are allowed 05 years relaxation in maximum age limit by Government Order No. 1399 dated 21 May 2005. Disabled candidates of Uttarakhand are allowed 10 years relaxation in maximum age limit for Group ‘C’ posts by Government Order No. 1244, dated 21 May, 2005. 05 years relaxation in maximum age limit is allowed for the candidates dependent on freedom fighters of Uttarakhand by Government Order No. 1244 dated 21 May, 2005. As per Notification No. 6/1/72 Personnel-2 dated 25th April, 1977, Ex-servicemen of Uttarakhand shall be allowed to deduct the period of their service in the Armed Forces from their actual age and if the resulting age does not exceed 03 years from the maximum age limit prescribed for the post/service for which he is seeking appointment, then he shall be deemed to fulfil the condition relating to higher age limit.
Nationality:- A candidate for direct recruitment to any post in the Service must be-
(a) a citizen of India or
(b) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(c) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or any East African country, Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar with the intention of permanently settling in India:
Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) or (c) of the above category shall be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the State Government.
Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) or (c) of the above category shall also be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the State Government. Provided also that if a candidate belongs to category (c) above, a certificate of eligibility shall not be issued for a period exceeding one year and such a candidate shall be retained in service beyond the period of one year subject to the condition that he has acquired the citizenship of India.
Note: A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary but the same has neither been issued nor has been refused may be admitted to an examination and may also be provisionally appointed subject to the condition that the necessary certificate is obtained by him or issued in his favour.
