Vacancy Details
A total of 184 posts have been released for Pharmacist/Compounder (Ayurveda), Class-3. Category-wise reservation is also provided in the official notification.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
Option 1
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) from a recognized university.
Option 2
- Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) from a recognized university
AND - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist or Compounder in Government, Local Body, Government Undertaking, Board, Corporation, or Limited Company.
Additional Requirements
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi language.
Age Limit
As on 29 May 2026:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
Age Relaxation
- Female Candidates: 5 years
- Reserved Category Candidates: 5 years
- Reserved Female Candidates: 10 years
- PwD Candidates: Up to 20 years relaxation as per rules
- Ex-Servicemen: Additional relaxation as per government norms.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive:
- Fixed salary of ₹40,800 per month for the first 5 years.
- After completion of probation, pay scale will be:
₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Level-5 Pay Matrix).

- Subject Related Questions – 120 Marks

- 210 Questions
- Total Time: 3 Hours
- Negative Marking: 1/4 marks deduction for each wrong answer.
