Name of Post – Pharmacist/B (04 Posts)

Essential Qualification & Experience

H.S.C. (10+2) + 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months Training in Pharmacy + Registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council.

Age Limit – 18 to 25 Years

Selection Process –

Written Examination + Skill Test The written examination will be OMR based or Computer Based Test(CBT)

The Written Examination will be in two stages :

Stage-1- Preliminary Test (1 Hour Duration)
Stage-2- Advanced Test (2 Hours Duration)

Stage-1 – Preliminary Test: It will be a screening examination to be held to shortlist candidates. The format of screening examination shall be common and will be in following format:

Examination will comprise of 50 multiple choice questions (Choice of four answers) of 01 (one) hour
duration in the following proportion:

03 (Three) marks to be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark to be deducted for each
incorrect answer. Tests may be conducted in single/multiple sessions depending upon logistics requirements.

Stage-2 – Advanced Test [Test will be of 02 (two) hours duration]

All candidates screened in Stage-1 to undertake an advanced test in their respective trade applicable for
the post

The Test will be of 02 (two) hours duration.

The level of questions for Plant Operator Trainees (Category-II) will be based on the syllabus in HSC or
ISC and that for other Category-II(Maintainer) Trainees, the same will be in their respective ITI trades

The level of questions for para-medical posts will be based on the syllabus related to their qualifying
academic / professional / technical qualification.-

The Test will comprise 50 Multiple choice questions (Choice of four answers) with 03 (Three) marks to
be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark to be deducted for each incorrect answer.

General Instructions for the candidates

Application will be accepted through ONLINE mode only. Applications submitted in any other form including handwritten/typewritten applications in hard format delivered in person or by other means shall not be entertained. No certificates/marksheets etc. are required to be submitted alongwith “online application form” except Project Affected Persons (PAP) documents, if applicable. No documents/applications forms etc are required to be sent to NPCIL. However, candidates may take print-out of the application form which needs to be submitted to NPCIL, if selected.

Candidates are advised to have a valid and active personal e-mail ID & phone number till the completion of recruitment process. NPCIL will send intimation/call letter for Written Examination/Skill Test etc. only through the registered E-mail ID. SMS will also be sent to the candidate if an active mobile number for communication is provided. If the mobile number registered by the candidate is in the TRAI NCPR list (formerly called DND), candidate will not receive SMS alerts related to the registration.
