INVITES ONLINE APPLICATIONS FROM MALE CANDIDATES FOR SELECTION TESTS FOR SEPOY PHARMA INTAKE FOR RECRUITING YEAR 2024-25 ONLINE REGISTRATION DATES FROM 13 FEBRUARY 2024 TO 22 MARCH 2024 ONLINE EXAM DATES : 22 APRIL 2024 ONWARDS

IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION TO CANDIDATES

  1. For Recruiting Year 2024-25, the recruitment of Sepoy Pharma will be carried out in two phases:-
    (a) Phase I – Online Computer Based Examination (Online CEE)
    (b) Phase II – Recruitment Rally.
  2. Procedure for Online Registration.
    (a) All candidates to log in to joinindianarmy.nic.in, check their eligibility status and create their profile. (b) Online Registration (submission of application) will commence from 13 February 2024 to 22 March 2024. (c) Examination Fee. Examination fee of Rs 250/- per applicant is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination. The candidate on successfully filling the application will be directed to SBI portal through a link on the website. At the SBI portal make payment of Rs 250/- plus Bank charges as applicable. The payment can be made through any of these
    payment options available :-
    (i) Payment Gateway Facility through Maestro, Master Card, VISA, Rupay Cards both Credit & Debit of all major banks.
    (ii) Internet banking of SBI and other banks.
    (iii) UPI (BHIM)
    (d) Duplicate/Incomplete/Erroneously filled application will be rejected.
    (e) Candidates are required to have an active email & mobile number which will be used for further communication.
    (f) Candidates should apply only once in response to this Notification.
    (g) Candidates must indicate five choices of the examination centre. All possible effort would be taken to allot examination centre based on first three choices.
    (h) Request for change of examination centre or date of selection test will not be entertained.
    (j) Candidates not reporting for the test on due date & time will not be accommodated on other dates. (k) Candidate should enter AADHAR number in online application.
    (l) For online registration & online application, assistance will also be provided to candidates at nearest ARO on working days from 1000 Hours to 1400 Hours.
  3. Online CEE.
    (a) Category wise link has been provided on JIA website to enable candidates to practice online CEE as per their category. All candidates are advised to carry out practice at least once before appearing for actual CEE. b) Animated videos “How to Register” and “How to Appear for online CEE” are available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
  4. Candidates are advised to upload only recent photographs on JIA website. In case of uploaded photographs not matching with face, candidate will not be allowed to appear in the online CEE.
  5. Candidates are to reach at the Examination Centre with colour print out of admit card. Candidates shall be debarred from appearing in online test in case anomalies/irregularities / incorrect information are observed during initial verification at the examination venue or at any subsequent stage of selection process.
  6. The candidates should carry his AADHAR Card (as displayed on the Admit Card) as proof of identity whenever they report for the Selection Test (Phase-I & II) and Medical Test.
  7. Details about required educational qualification, physical/medical standards and job specification are available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in under the candidate’s login and this information can be accessed by the candidate without signing in.
  8. In case candidate claims Bonus Marks but is subsequently not able to produce the requisite/ genuine certificate or documents, this action may be considered as fraudulent and his candidature will be cancelled at any stage.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. The selection of candidates will be carried out for following categories as per qualitative
    requirement:-
    Category Education Age 19- 25 Years
  2. Candidates born between – 01 October 1999 to 01 April 2005
  3. (a) Sepoy Pharma – 10+2 / equivalent exam pass and qualified
    in D.Pharma with minimum 55% in aggregate and registered with State Pharmacy Council / Pharmacy Council of India. Individuals qualified in B.Pharma with minimum 50% marks and registered with State Pharmacy Council / Pharmacy Council of India will also be eligible.

Phase I Online CEE .
(a) Candidates can download Admit Card after clicking the link on Join Indian Army website.
Candidate has to put his user name (which is the Roll Number of candidate) and Password as
received by SMS/Email.
(b) Candidates should download their Admit Card & carry a colour printout at the examination
centre. All instructions given on Admit Card must be read by the candidates carefully and they
should adhere to the instructions.
(c) Candidates are required to arrive at examination centre minimum 30 mins prior to reporting
time as indicated on Admit Card.
(d) No electronic gadgets are permitted at the examination centres. Candidates will undergo
following activities at the examination centre:-
(i) Frisking at Entry Gate.
(ii) Checking of Admit Card & Aadhar Card at the checking point
(iii) Auto allotment of Exam Hall.
(iv) Attendance at Exam Hall gate.
(v) Capture of Biometric (Photo & thumb impression) inside the exam hall.
(vi) Login ID to allotted computer terminal.
(vii) Appear for test as per procedure.
(viii) Exit Biometric before exiting the Examination Hall.
(e) Online test will be objective Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). As per category of application
the candidates would be required to answer 50 questions in one hour or 100 questions in two
hours.
(f) Marking Pattern for Online Test :-
(i) Full marks for every correct answer.
(ii) Nil marks for unattempted question.
(iii) 25% marks shall be deducted for every attempted wrong answer (-ve marks).
(g) Marks scored by the candidates in Online CEE will be Normalised to take into account
variation in difficulty levels of the question paper across different sessions.

  1. Additional Information for candidates till Phase- I of the Selection Process :-
    (a) Candidates must indicate five choices of the Examination Centre. All possible effort would
    be taken to allot Examination Centre based on first three choices.

    (c) Candidates not reporting for the test on due date & time will not be accommodated on other
    dates.

Phase – II

  1. Proportionate to the vacancies available candidates would be shortlisted by applying a cut off in
    written exam result. The Roll Number of the candidates who are in merit will be published on Join Indian
    Army website. These candidates will receive a second admit card for balance of recruitment process as
    per Rally Schedule of ZROs. The admit card for Phase II of recruitment process can also be downloaded
    online under candidate’s login (profile) on Join Indian Army web portal www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
    Shortlisted candidates have to report on the stipulated date and time for phase II at the designated
    Recruitment Rally venue with following document /certificate in original alongwith two attested photocopies
    with them:-
    (a) Admit Card Printed on Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).
    (b) Photograph. Twenty (20) copies of unattested Passport size colour photographs
    developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months
    old Computerised /photocopied/shopped photographs will NOT be accepted. Photographs must
    be with proper hair cut and clean shave (Except Sikh Candidates).
    (c) Education Certificates.
    (i) Education Certificate with marks sheet of all educational qualifications achieved by
    candidate i.e Matric/Intermediate etc from recognised School/ College / Board/University.
    (ii) Provisional/online education certificate should be certified in ink signed by the head
    of the educational institution of concerned Board/University.
    (iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving
    Certificate countersigned by BEO/DEO.
    (iv) List of Education Board recognized by State Governments / UT Administrations is
    attach as Appendix A will only be accepted.
    (d) Domicile Certificate. Domicile Certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar/ District
    Magistrate. Photograph on residential certificate is required to be affixed, however, if the certificate
    are digitally downloaded from the authorised Government Site and verified by QR Code, then
    photograph of the candidate on certificate is not required.
    (e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph of the candidate issued by the
    Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
    (f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate to be issued by the Tehsildar/ SDM (if religion as
    “SIKH/ HINDU/ MUSLIM/ CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in caste certificate).
    (g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School/College
    Principal/Headmaster where the candidates last studied.
    (h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issued by Village
    Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months from the date of despatch.
    (j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for all candidates with photograph issued by
    Village Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months.

Recruitment Rally

  1. Candidates will be tested as stated below during the Phase II:-
    (a) Physical Fitness Test (At Rally Site) are as under :-
    (b) Physical Measurement Test (At Rally Site). Physical measurement will be carried out

    as per the laid down Physical standards. (c) Adaptability Test. All candidates who qualify the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will have to undertake Adaptability Test as per policy in vogue. Adaptability Test is for selection of candidates who can adapt to the environment of
    the Indian Army and are able to adapt to the challenges of military life. Those candidates
    who will qualify the Adaptability Test will be eligible for medical & further recruitment
    process. Those candidate who do not qualify the Adaptability Test will not be allowed for
    further participation in recruitment process. Candidates will be allowed to carry their Smart
    Phones for the duration of Adaptability Test.
    (d) Medical Examination.
    (i) Medical examination of candidates who qualify in Physical Fitness Test and
    Physical Measurement Test will be conducted by Army Medical Team at the Rally site as per Army Medical standards and policy in vogue on the subject issue. (ii) Unfit candidates will be referred to Military Hospital for specialist review. Candidates to report to designated Military Hospital within five days from referral and review medical exam to be completed by Military Hospital within seven days as per policy. (iii) The Recruitment Medical Officer and the Specialist doctors of Armed Forces are the
    final authorities on declaring a candidate fit or unfit during initial med examination, review
    medical examination and med examination prior to enrolment. The candidates shall be
    governed by Army standards which may be at variance from civil standards. There is no
    provision for representation or appeal or re-review after the review medical examination.
    (iv) Passing in the medical examination is not a guarantee for employment in Indian
    Army.
    Note. Candidates discharged from the Indian Armed Forces for any reason are not eligible
    to appear in the selection test.
